SB 228 Signed by Governor Sununu!!!!

Great New Everyone!!!!  On Tuesday, June 7th, Governor Sununu signed our bill into law! It will take effect on August 6th and then we will work with the Board of Medicine to update the rules to reflect the changes made by SB 228!

This comes after over a year of work from the NHSPA Legislative Committee volunteers who have stepped up to educate not just our legislators but also the medical leaders in our community about who we are and what we do. So many people in the community as well as at the Board and legislation level have a very poor understanding of how we are trained and our scope - it is high time that this changes.
